A tool sharing community

The Inner West Tool Library opened its doors in 2019. We are here to provide the residents of the Inner West of Sydney and surrounds with access to a wide variety of equipment that you'd much rather borrow than buy.

Yes we have the tools, but with so much more - we're a 'library of things'. Think drills, tents, sewing machines, hedge trimmers, marquees, food dehydrators and pressure washers.

We want to reduce waste and increase opportunity for our members and are continually building our stock so we can give our members the value they deserve.

The IWTL is membership based (12 months) and can be renewed at any time.

  1. Create an account online with MyTurn and complete a membership application

  2. Read and accept the Liability Waiver and the Borrowing Rules & Tool Use Policy.

  3. Make payment via Stripe, purchasing the right membership for you

    $75/year for an adult

    $50/year for a concession

  4. And please always bring in a government-issued photo ID to the Tool Library crew when borrowing.
